IN a dazzling display of creative imagination and a burst of colours, Dell unveiled its latest consumer products – the hip and trendy Dell Studio laptops and Studio Hybrid desktop models.
The launch was held at the equally-colourful and posh Centro Bar to allow the guests a chance to experience the full vibrancy of Dell’s latest offerings by blending colours, music and technology into a fun-filled evening.
Aimed primarily at reaching the young and hip, Dell now offers consumers the chance to express their personality and enhance their creative living by customising their laptops with a spectrum of groovy new colours that will add fun and personality to any work space, be it at home, the office or a trendy café.
The new Studio range is a highly-expressive and personalised product line that is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, combining both aesthetics and technology into a fresh approach to hi-def mobile lifestyles.
The Studio laptops are available in a series of multi-hued colours with jazzy names like jet black, midnight blue, ruby red, tangerine orange, spring green, flamingo pink and plum purple.
The Studio Hybrid sleeves are available in six interchangeable colours – grey, quartz pink, ruby red, sapphire blue, orange topaz, green and bamboo.
These highly-appealing new colours serve as a reflection and a fashion statement for today’s independent and stylish young adults.
"Both the new Studio 15 and Studio Hybrid are targeted at the younger crowd and they continue to reflect Dell’s concept of no-compromise personalisation that will allow our customers to choose and mix all the components that make up their computer; plus an additional option to choose a hot new colour at no additional cost," said Rajive Chandra, general manager of Dell Asean Consumer.
Also available in Malaysia is another new model from the Inspiron range. Aptly named the Mini Inspiron 9, this new lifestyle-enhancing computer, featuring the Intel Atom Processor, is a small, easy-to-carry Internet buddy that stands ready to connect users online, anywhere, anytime.
"People seeking stunning design, brilliant colours, and innovative new technology will find inspiration in Dell’s new offerings that are ideal for the young and trendy whose mobile lifestyles are continuously reflected in the gadgets they carry," added Rajive.
Both of these new product lines are especially built for today’s digital nomads based on the millions of conversations Dell gets every year on dell.com, Ideastorm and community forums.
Adding on to that, Dell offers its customers greater peace of mind with Dell’s Consumer In-Home Hardware service that allows phone and/or remote (DellConnect) troubleshooting assistance. If on-site assistance is required, a Dell engineer will visit the user usually within the next business day.
The price for the new Dell Studio 12 line ranges from RM3,299 to RM4,299 while the Studio Hybrid starts from RM1,999 onwards.
