Real estate website launches new service

LOCAL
real estate website, propertrack.com, launched its Free.2.List service recently with the aim of providing greater international outreach to property portfolios of local real estate negotiators nationwide.

This new service will join other Malaysian-based property portals to attract more international real estate buyers and investors for Malaysian properties, said Mohd Hisham Saleh (pix), associate director of Asia Move Machine Sdn Bhd, the brand owner of propertrack.com.

"In recent months we have been receiving many requests from property negotiators especially from small-medium sized real estate firms.

"They have been asking for new solutions in a supportive and professional manner internationally, to bring greater outreach of their property portfolio," he said.

The new services offered specifically for property negotiators registered with the board of valuers, appraisers and estate agents, is in line with the concerns raised by the board over the increasing number of illegal estate agents and the negative impact on the industry.

Together with the launch of the Free.2.List service, propertrack.com has also extended its property listing coverage to all states in Malaysia.

With the wider coverage, property negotiators in any major city in the country, such as Penang, Johor Baru, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching will benefit from the international linkages the website currently has.

"Many of our ‘Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Visa’ programme enquirers are very interested in properties outside Kuala Lumpur," said Datuk Kamarudin Abu, chairman of Malvisa (MM2H) Sdn Bhd, which is one of propertrack.com’s participating MM2H Visa licensed agency firms.

Free.2.List enables each property negotiator to upload up to 30 properties every month.

Properties uploaded to the site must have a minimum value of RM250,000 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM350,000 in Sabah and Sarawark, as this is one of the MM2H Visa programme requirements.

The website is a Malaysian-based property marketing platform and provides solutions for local and international property developers’ "off plan property developments", real estate firms as well as property-related business service providers.

It also provides the most recent information on the MM2H Visa programme for international visitors, through its MM2H Malaysian information desk.
