Ideal choice

Korean
actor Hyun Bin has recently been tapped as the new face of Laneige Homme.

Choi Wan, marketing communication manager at Amorepacific, in a statement said that Hyun Bin is the ideal person for Laneige Homme because of his sophisticated image and metrosexual masculinity.

He also added that Hyun Bin’s fame in the Asian region is another essential factor for his appointment.

Hyun Bin could hardly conceal his excitement when asked about his appointment as the new spokesperson for Laneige Homme. He said that he has had only good experience to share about the brand as he is also a Laneige Homme consumer.

He has started using Laneige products after his friend recommended him to the brand when shooting for a TV drama.

Another interesting fact is that both Hyun Bin and Song Hye-Kyo (also a spokesperson for Laneige) starred in a TV drama "Worlds Within" together.

Beauty know-how

"As an actor, putting on makeup is unavoidable. I also learnt that removing makeup is more important than wearing makeup. I wash my face thoroughly with a foaming cleanser right after work even if I have light makeup on," Hyun Bin said.

"I use skincare products that give me hydration because I have dry skin. My skin looks dull and rough when I have a tight and busy schedule.

"When that happens, I apply sleeping pack and take a good rest. It helps me sleep better and I can feel my tired skin revitalised. I also use UV products daily. It protects skin from UV rays and corrects skin tone." – Alex Yip

This year, Laneige has added three new products to its Homme range making its skincare more complete. New additions include the Sebum Free Scrub Foam, Sebum Free Multi Fluid and Sun Block Leports SPF 50+ PA+++. For more information, visit www.laneige.com.my
