DIGI
Telecommunications (DiGi) recently launched its corporate promotional packages for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and BlackBerry Curve 8900.

With the launch, DiGi now offers its customers mobile solutions that deliver the benefits of enhanced communication and increased productivity on the go.

“We are happy to bring the BlackBerry solution to our customers. With our budget-friendly product packages and strong back-end support, we are confident that customers will value the exceptional BlackBerry experience offered by DiGi,” said DiGi entreprise business head Eric Chong.

According to Chong, the Bold and Curve models were launched first because they were the two most popular models among the business community.

The smartphones were launched under DiGi’s “Think Practical” campaign which is aimed at offering customers simple, practical and relevant products and services amidst the economic downturn.

Chong said DiGi commands a strong market presence in the small and medium entreprises (SMEs) segment of up to 40%, which represents a key growth area for its entreprising business.

“A critical market advantage unique to DiGi is our dedicated account management teams that are assigned to each corporate client to provide a continuous, excellent customer experience,” he said.
“We realise that not every customer requires the full range of our products. We are flexible in the sense that we work with our customers to come up with relevant business solutions for them,” added Chong.

Until Aug 31, DiGi Business customers can purchase the BlackBerry Bold at RM1,399 and the BlackBerry Curve at RM999 when they sign up for the BIZ Plan 150/250 for a 24-month contract.

Both phones are being offered at RM63 per month for unlimited e-mail and internet access.

The smartphones, which support cellular and Wi-Fi networks, work in conjunction with the BlackBerry Entreprise Server software to enable users to access their corporate networks and e-mail (IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange or Novell Group Wise) and access the internet.

Current package availability is limited only to the Klang Valley, and will only be launched elsewhere in the subsequent months.

Interested customers can contact DiGi Customer Service at 016-299 8888 or enquire at any DiGi centre in the Klang Valley.
