Before Anrie Too came along, Michael Chen said, "I always thought I had to settle for something less." He found searching for a partner who shared the same interests tricky because: "I like the creative arts but I’m not artsy. I’ve met people who are either one of the extremes but not in the middle." Chen was attracted to Too, a member of LiT Performers, an all-women acapella group and Stilettos, an all-girl choir because she shared his passion for singing, acting and dancing. The 26-year-old project manager says he has been acting "since Actors Studio was in Dataran Merdeka", written songs and performed alongside Mia Palencia.
