Romancing the other
I’M NOT a techno geek. Brought up in rural British Malaya, I saw my first light bulb when I was about four years old. Electricity came in 1975 to my kampong. Maybe this was one of the reasons why I have a slight reservation about technology and science. I was told by my scientist housemate that science one day could explain everything. I shudder if this would happen. I still love the myth and the mystery of life.
